About Our Client:

Our client supports the collection, sorting and processing of eligible drink containers. They are seeking reliable and hardworking Collection Labourers to assist with the day-to-day handling and sorting of recycled bottles and cans.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexible, ongoing part-time work. The successful candidates will be responsible for counting and sorting bottles and cans, with hours initially starting at 12 shifts per week and the chance to increase hours as experience is gained.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Collection Labourer, you will assist with the counting and sorting of recycled bottles and cans. The role involves repetitive manual work and requires a strong attention to detail to ensure containers are accurately counted and sorted.

Your duties will include:

Counting recycled bottles and cans

Sorting bottles and cans into the appropriate categories

Handling and moving containers as required

Maintaining accuracy when counting large quantities of containers

Performing general labouring duties as required

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area

Following workplace health and safety procedures

Roster:

Casual, ongoing work

Initially 12 shifts per week

Approximately 28 hours per shift, depending on operational requirements





Hours may increase with experience up to approximately 1215 hours per week

Flexible roster based on operational requirements

What You Will Need:

Previous basic labouring experience is desirable

Experience counting cans or similar repetitive work is desirable

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to perform repetitive manual work

Reliable and punctual work ethic

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Commitment to workplace health and safety
