About the role

Our Receptionist is a friendly, organised presence at the heart of our school community. This role would suit someone who enjoys routine, loves helping people and takes pride in keeping the many small details of a busy school day running smoothly. The position is Monday to Friday, 8:15am–3:15pm during school terms & partial school holiday hours.

Key responsibilities

- Attend to reception area enquiries from staff, students, contractors and parents
- Manage all incoming calls, maintain the telephone and voicemail system
- Provide administrative support of student management software and parent communication apps
- Maintain student transport arrangements
- Administer digital student records and student events in Compass
- Organise second hand uniform stock and respond to parent enquiries
- Monitor staff facilities and refill consumables
- First aid & lost property coordination – liaising with parents/carers as required
- Social media support

About you

- Active Christian faith
- Current driver’s licence
- Working With Children’s Check (or ability to obtain)
- Capacity to communicate effectively with members of the school community including parents, students, staff, visitors, contractors and external stakeholders
- Experience with Google Drive and social media applications would be advantageous
- Commitment to qualified learning and growth




- Ability to exhibit behaviour through word and action which reflects the ethos and Christian foundations of the school
- Familiarity with and ability to follow school policies and procedures
