Braidwood Multi-Purpose Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a 11-week contract from 27 September to 14 December 2026. This is a hands-on role in a small, rural facility where you'll take charge of the ED, managing patient care from triage through to discharge. You'll bring emergency nursing expertise to a close-knit team and may also provide support to the residential aged care unit during quieter periods. A private vehicle is essential for this Braidwood, NSW-based position.

Preferred Requirements

- Solid emergency department experience with proven triage competency
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Hands-on skills in cannulation and venepuncture
- Ability to work independently and lead a small team in a rural setting
- Own private vehicle for commuting to Braidwood

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in emergency nursing practice
- Familiarity with rural or small-site healthcare environments
