We're working with a well-known food manufacturer in Yatala who are currently looking for a QA Coordinator that actually likes being on the floor. If you'd rather be next to the product and the people than stuck behind a desk, keep reading.

You'll be on the production line every day doing real-time checks, backing up GMP standards and helping the team make practical improvements that stick. You'll make sure product consistently meets customer specs, food safety requirements and regulatory standards. You'll also keep the site's QA systems, paperwork and audit readiness in good shape, with the operations team behind you.

What you'll be doing:

- Running QA checks and verifying quality and food safety as it happens as well as internal audits & compliance
- Keeping QA, production and logistics records accurate and up to date
- Assisting with external audits
- Making solid calls on line issues and escalating to management when needed
- Investigating non-conformances, complaints and quality incidents,



then helping put CAPA actions in place
- Coordinating in-process and finished product sampling for testing
- Managing calibration schedules for quality-critical equipment
- Spotting trends and pitching in on continuous improvement
- Training and supporting production staff on food safety, quality standards and GMP

What you'll bring:

- Confidence on the production floor and the knack of earning the trust of the people working it
- A qualification in Food Science, or similar, or solid hands-on industry experience
- Clear communication with everyone from operators to management
- Practical problem-solving and the ability to make good decisions under pressure
- A solid grip on HACCP, GMP and quality systems
