About your opportunity
This full-time nephrology position is based in Townsville and is responsible for providing comprehensive renal services, including dialysis, outpatient care, inpatient consultations, and telehealth support. The role involves close liaison within the renal team to ensure coordinated and high-quality care across all service areas.

- Salary range: $222,059 to $281,545 p.a. (L18-L27)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Specialist Registration: You will hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
- Travel: This position may require the incumbent to work at Mount Isa, depending on registration and the incumbent may be required to work at other facilities within the THHS.
- Highly regarded: An intrinsic ability to both directly supervise and mentor junior medical staff.
- Highly regarded: A track record of Undergraduate and Post graduate teaching and ward supervision skills.
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
