Naracoorte Hospital and Community Health Service is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with emergency department background to join their team on a contract basis from October 2026 through February 2027. This is a valuable opportunity for an ED-trained nurse to broaden clinical experience across a ward-based, multipurpose setting in a regional healthcare environment. Based in Naracoorte, the role offers 18 weeks of meaningful work in a cooperative team.

- Expand your ED expertise into broader ward-based nursing across a multipurpose setting
- 18-week contract from 3 October 2026 to February 2027

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department setting
- Competence in triage assessment and patient prioritisation
- Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Practical skills in cannulation and venepuncture
- Ability to work effectively within a multipurpose ward team environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Post-graduate emergency nursing qualification or relevant professional development
