Be part of a $300M Tonkin Highway Grade Separations Project. Upgrading Tonkin Highway between Hale Road and Welshpool Road East. The project includes widening the highway to six lanes, new bridges and underpasses, grade-separated interchanges, service relocations.

We are seeking an experienced, HSE Advisor to support and maintain NRW's strong safety culture across our projects. This role will work closely with site leadership to ensure effective implementation of health, safety, environmental, and training systems, while driving continuous improvement and legislative compliance.

To be successful, you will have:

- Substantial experience as a HSE Advisor, preferably in in a construction or civil resources environment
- Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
- ICAM Lead Investigator trained
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Hold a Construction White Card
- C Class Drivers Licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong computer skills including the use of MS Office Suite and incident management systems
- Previous experience in a metropolitan based role
- Knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the project team to implement and embed the Projects Work Health, Safety Environmental and Training Management System
- Coaching Supervisors in the implementation of hazard and incident prevention on the Project
- Conduct, investigate and report on all incident investigations inclusive of development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions
- Conducting regular inspections on Health, Safety and Environmental SE processes in line with NRW and Legislative requirements
- Develop and present innovative ideas to improve Health, Safety and Environmental aspects on the Project to promote 'A Protected, Day, Everyday'




- Develop, implement and support HSE education and training programs to create and improve HSE awareness
- Champion health and safety on site
