Your new role

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Operator - Backhoe to join a busy team based in Mirani. This position plays a key role in the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage assets and other civil infrastructure projects.

Working under the direction of supervisors and leading hands, you will operate backhoes and other road construction plant while assisting with a range of civil construction and maintenance activities. This is a hands-on role suited to an operator who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiencyWhat you'll need to succeed

- General Construction Safety White Card
- Current QLD C Class Driver's Licence
- QLD HR Licence or willingness to obtain within 12 months




- Certificate of Competency to Operate Road Construction Plant, particularly a Backhoe
- Extensive experience operating civil construction plant and equipment
- Demonstrated experience in road construction and drainage maintenance
- Strong understanding of civil construction practices
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Traffic Control Ticket (desirable)
