Position Number: 6908 Location: Queanbeyan

The Package: $131,412.84 - $145,216.24 gross per annum + 12% super. (Evaluated as Grade 18 of the QPRC Salary System 2026) and Award increases of 4% in 2027-28 and 4% in 2028-2029.

Full-time – 35 hours per week. Versatile work arrangements will be considered.

Are you interested in helping shape how Council plans, maintains and invests in its infrastructure for the long term? Join QPRC as our Coordinator, Asset Engineering & Planning and play a key role in the future of Council’s infrastructure assets.

In this role you will:

· Lead the preparation and continuous improvement of Council’s asset management plans, including lifecycle modelling, renewal forecasting, asset condition, criticality, risk and levels of service.

· Provide strategic advice to support the prioritisation of capital works, maintenance, renewal and upgrade programs, ensuring asset planning aligns with Council’s broader strategic and financial plans.

· Lead a team of four and coordinate input from asset owners, service managers, engineers, finance, project teams and consultants to deliver high-quality plans.

We are looking for someone who:





· Holds relevant tertiary qualifications in asset management, engineering, planning, finance, project management, business or a related discipline, and/or has equivalent relevant experience.

· Has demonstrated experience in infrastructure asset planning, lifecycle modelling, asset management plans and long-term renewal forecasting, with knowledge of recognised asset management frameworks highly regarded.

· Has strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement and leadership skills, with the ability to translate complex asset information into clear advice for Council.
