We’re the Health Insurance Fund of Australia, but our friends call us HIF and we have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Service Desk Analyst with excellent people skills, to join our team.

What we are looking for in you:

We’re looking for someone who is curious about technology, enjoys helping people and is keen to develop their IT skills. You’ll bring a positive, can-do attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Whether you’re a recent graduate or TAFE-qualified, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced IT professionals and build hands-on skills across service desk support, cyber security, systems, AI, automation and more. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable and eager to grow their technology career with us.

This is a full time, permanent position.

Key responsibilities:

- Provide friendly, professional and timely support to HIF employees with day-to-day technology requests and issues.
- Log, triage and resolve service desk requests, escalating more complex issues when required and keeping users informed along the way.
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, telephony and mobile device issues.
- Build practical experience across IT operations, cyber security, software development, artificial intelligence, automation and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to improve the employee technology experience, productivity and support processes.
- Assist with ICT projects, systems administration, solution delivery and technology improvement initiatives.
- Support cyber security activities, including patching, vulnerability management, security awareness and secure technology practices.
- Work alongside the Head of IT & Information Security, IT Manager, Business Solutions, Information Security, Development and Testing teams as required.
