About the role

As an Occupational Therapist at Necessity Kids, you'll work with children and young people to build their independence, confidence and participation in everyday life. You'll have the opportunity to work across clinic, local schools and community settings, providing therapy where it can make a meaningful difference.

Key responsibilities

- Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention
- Fine and gross motor development
- Sensory processing and regulation
- Emotional regulation
- Self-care and daily living skills
- Play, social participation and independence
- School participation and functional skills
- Working collaboratively with parents, carers and educators
- Preparing clinical documentation, progress reports and NDIS reports
- Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team

About you





- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Current Working with Children Check
- National Police Check
- Current driver's licence
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- A commitment to evidence-informed and family-centred practice
