Woolnorth Renewables is seeking an experienced Asset Performance Manager to lead asset strategy, optimise operational outcomes, and support the future of our generation portfolio.

You’ll lead a small, capable team of engineers, IT/OT specialists, and external partners to drive reliability, availability, and commercial performance. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives on data-driven decision-making, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement across complex operational environments.

What you’ll be doing

- Leading the asset performance and engineering team to deliver safe, reliable and high-performing operations

- Developing and maintaining asset management plans aligned to safety, compliance, and commercial objectives

- Integrating SCADA, condition monitoring and market data to optimise performance and guide maintenance planning

- Overseeing engineering input into daily operations and projects, fault investigations, root cause analysis and improvement programs

- Working closely with Overwatch and market analysts to uplift revenue outcomes and generation responsiveness

- Supporting commissioning, project handovers, and operational readiness for new or upgraded assets

- Coordinating external contractors and technical providers to ensure deliverables meet expectations





- Reporting asset insights and performance trends to support operational and strategic decision-making

What you’ll bring

- 8–10 years’ experience in asset performance, maintenance planning, operational management, or similar

- Strong leadership capability across multidisciplinary or technical teams

- Experience integrating performance, SCADA or market data to drive optimisation

- Solid commercial understanding and the ability to interpret operational and market inputs

- Experience managing external contractors and specialist service providers

- A commitment to safety, quality, and compliance in all aspects of asset management

- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Asset Management or similar (with asset management training such as ISO 55001 or IAM beneficial)
