We are seeking Surveyors with experience working on road construction, TMR, drainage, construction projects, that are wanting to step up into a leadership position in 6-12months, with having a manager to support your growth.

Key responsibilities

- Reviewing project specifications and drawings ahead of site works

- Planning and coordinating survey set-out, factoring in project continuity and machinery/contractor use

- Ensuring all works are set out in strict accordance with project drawings and specifications

- Working with the Site Supervisor/Construction Manager on efficient peg placement, including non-standard situations

- Completing all electronic/computer-based calculations ahead of arriving on site

- Communicating clearly with site personnel and providing documented advice where needed

- Maintaining and securing survey equipment

- Supporting a robust safety culture and flagging any unsafe practices or conditions

- Generating conformance reports and reporting QA issues,



non-conformances and rectification processes

About you

- Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar, with proven experience at party leader level in civil construction

- Experience using 12D Model Software and Trimble Machine Control Systems

- Ability to apply survey principles to civil infrastructure construction

- Ability to investigate and report on non-conforming work

- Current driver's licence (Class C)

- General Construction Induction Card (White Card)

- Strong communication, planning, organisational and problem-solving skills

- Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and surveying software
