About the role

We are looking for an organised and dependable Storeperson / Yard Hand to join our team at our Bibra Lake facility. This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day running of our yard and store.

The role directly supports our field crews and project teams. It ensures that materials, equipment and stock are managed accurately, prepared on time and dispatched safely to local jobs and regional sites.

Key responsibilities

In summary, you will be responsible for stock control, job preparation and dispatch, and maintaining a safe and well-organised yard.

- Receiving and processing deliveries: Checking incoming goods against purchase orders, recording receipts accurately, and following up on discrepancies or damaged items.

- Job preparation and dispatch: Picking, packing and staging materials and equipment for crews,



and loading vehicles and trailers safely for metropolitan and regional work.

- Inventory management: Maintaining accurate stock records, conducting regular stock counts, and notifying purchasing team when reordering is required.

- Yard operations: Operating forklifts and material handling equipment, and keeping materials, equipment and storage areas clearly organised and easy to access.

- Equipment returns: Receiving, checking, cleaning and restocking equipment returned from site, and reporting any damage or servicing requirements.

- Site upkeep: Keeping the yard and store clean and tidy, and carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs.

- Health and safety: Following company safety procedures, identifying and reporting hazards, and contributing to a safe working setting.

About you

- Previous experience in a store, yard or warehouse environment, ideally in a trade, civil or industrial setting

- Current forklift licence (essential)

- Current driver's licence (essential)

- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail

- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling

- Basic computer skills for stock and inventory records

- Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team

- A strong commitment to safe work practices
