Orderman / Load Checker

An opportunity has become available for the services of an experienced Orderman / Load checker to support our busy Timber and Hardware Despatch Yard. We are seeking a self-motivated, hard-working person to join this team. Previous experience is preferred. The role is 38 hrs a week Monday to Friday, no late nights or weekends. Must have a forklift licence.

This role is key to ensuring stock accuracy, smooth despatch operations, and excellent customer service in a quick-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receipt and check incoming stock for accuracy and damage

- Assist with door and hardware order assembly

- Ensure customer orders are correctly picked, packed, and loaded

- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal staff

- Answer phones and emails

- Maintain accurate records and ERP transactions





- Support stock organisation and storage

- Follow WH&S; procedures

About You

- Administration experience with strong computer skills (ERP experience preferred)

- High attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused

- Experience in the building or timber industry highly regarded

- Must have the right to work in Australia without conditions
