About the role

Veritus Research is seeking a talented Pharmacist to join our team as our Project Pharmacist in Bayswater, Victoria. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical oversight and support for our clinical trial activities. As a key member of our clinical trials team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our clinical studies.

What you'll be doing

- Oversee the pharmacy-related aspects of clinical trial activities, including study drug management, assisting from Start-up to First Participant dose and ongoing study management

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other relevant regulations

- Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and guidance to the research team, study investigators, and other stakeholders

- Collaborate with the clinical team and project team to ensure efficient communication on all IP deliverable

- Contribute to the preparation of Protocol submissions and Pharmacy manual review

- Train and mentor new pharmacy staff

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices in clinical trial management

What we're looking for

- Pharmacy degree and current registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA

- Minimum 2 years' experience in a clinical trial environment

- Demonstrated expertise in the management of investigational products, including storage,



handling, distribution, and accountability

- Experience in aseptic compounding is desirable

- Strong understanding of GCP, GMP and TGA regulations on Clinical Trials

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite, clinical trial management systems, EDC and IRT systems

- Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
