Showroom Sales Consultant
Fortitude Valley, QLD | Tuesday to Saturday

You take pride in knowing your product, and you like being the person a customer can trust to get it right.

This role has come up because our previous consultant has moved on, and we are looking for someone to step into our established Fortitude Valley showroom.

You will be selling both the Signorino and Woodcut products, so a genuine interest in both natural stone and timber surfaces will serve you well here.

You will be working alongside a team that knows the product well and takes real pride in the showroom itself. There is genuine scope to build your product knowledge over time and grow into the role.

About Us

Signorino and Woodcut are both family businesses passed down through the generations, Signorino for more than fifty years & Woodcut from our director's grandfather, a timber merchant. Today we supply premium natural stone, terrazzo and porcelain surfaces alongside engineered European oak flooring, specified on many of Australia's most design-led projects.

The Role

You own the client experience from the moment someone walks into our showroom, selling both products.

- Welcome every visitor warmly and give them full attention
- Understand customer needs early so advice feels personal
- Meet sales targets through genuine advice, not pressure
- Follow up after every sale so customers feel looked after
- Keep CRM records current so no lead is lost
- Track product knowledge and industry trends closely
- Hold displays and presentation to a high standard

Based in Fortitude Valley, Tuesday to Saturday (9am to 5.30pm weekdays, 9am to 3pm Saturday).

Who We're Looking For

You take pride in what you sell and where you sell it,



and you would rather earn a customer's trust than push for a quick sale.

- 3-5 experience in sales or retail, preferably in the building/architectural supplier market
- A natural, proactive approach to solving problems
- Strong listening skills, confident handling objections
- Genuine interest in design, materials or architecture
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM systems

And the non-negotiables, you take initiative rather than waiting to be asked; you keep the showroom looking at the part even when no one is watching, and you give every customer your full attention.
