A well-established crushing and quarry operation based in Melbourne's North, is seeking an experienced Loader Operator and Trade Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-permanent basis. Your new role

As a Loader Operator/Trade Assistant, you will be responsible for the secure and efficient operation of a front-end loader while supporting day-to-day site operations. This is a hands-on position and maintenance and labouring duties will form a significant part of the role. The successful applicant must be willing to get off the machine and assist the team wherever required.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Operating a front-end loader safely and efficiently
- Loading trucks and managing stockpiles
- Assisting with routine plant and equipment maintenance
- Carrying out general labouring duties across the site
- Supporting breakdowns, repairs and site upkeep activities
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment




- Following all workplace health and safety procedures

What you'll need to succeed

- Proven experience operating a front-end loader
- Relevant machinery tickets and licences
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to assist with maintenance
- Understanding that maintenance and labouring are key requirements of the role
- Reliable transport
- Willing to undertake drug and alcohol testing
