About the Role
Are you an experienced customer service, debt recovery, or administrative professional seeking your next contract in Brisbane CBD?
We are currently recruiting for multiple AO3 level contract positions across two key operational teams. The roles are due to start mid-october and run for a period of 2-3 weeks with a potential for further extension.
- Investigations & Intelligence: Focuses on problem-solving, data analysis, and targeted outreach to resolve complex accounts and recover outstanding revenue.
- Customer Engagement: A high-volume environment handling client calls, written correspondence, financial assessment forms, and negotiated payment arrangements.
Working Holiday Visa (WHV 417 / 462) holders are welcome and encouraged to apply, provided you hold valid full-time work rights for the duration of the contract and meet the core criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to high volumes of phone and email correspondence in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
- Conduct confident, structured negotiations with clients to arrange payment plans and finalise outstanding debts.
- Navigate and update multiple internal office software systems to manage and analyze data accurately.
- Assess financial forms and applications while ensuring compliance with record-keeping standards.
- Manage challenging or sensitive client conversations with resilience and robust de-escalation skills.
Skills & Experience Required
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in phone-based customer service, debt collection, or negotiations is highly regarded.
- High attention to detail with the ability to assess information and apply operational policies effectively.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple databases.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic, outcome-focused team.
