Tamworth, NSW | Full-time | Hybrid - 3 days office, 2 days WFH

- Grow with the business - Develop your skills, take on greater responsibility, and build your career as Rural Bridge grows.

- Do work that matters - Work with investors and members to help rural Australians build stronger financial futures for themselves and their families.

- Work directly with an entrepreneurial founder - Work one-on-one with a driven founder who is building an ambitious and growing business.

About the Role

Rural Bridge is looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work closely with our Founder and Managing Director.

This is more than a traditional administrative role. You will help turn the Founder’s ideas and strategy into action, keeping priorities moving, creating order across multiple projects, and making sure key details don’t fall through the cracks.

You will manage the day-to-day executive function while also supporting projects, operations, communications and the continued growth of Rural Bridge.

If you love being organised but can adapt quickly when priorities change, this role will suit you.

About Rural Bridge

Rural Bridge is an investment community helping rural Australians create and grow generational wealth.

Built on integrity, intelligence and forward thinking, we connect investors from country Australia with sectors and opportunities shaping the future. Through research, strategic partnerships and investment education, we help our community make informed decisions and build meaningful long-term wealth.

Rural Bridge is growing, and we are building the team, systems and infrastructure required for its next stage.

Key Responsibilities

- Executive support: Manage the Founder’s calendar, meetings, appointments, travel, correspondence, expenses and day-to-day priorities.

- Projects and execution: Help turn ideas and strategic priorities into organised projects, actions, timelines and follow-up.

- Tech and AI interest: Be good with tech and not afraid to use AI where appropriate to streamline and automate certain tasks.

- Operations and organisation: Maintain documents, records, presentations and internal systems while helping improve processes as the business grows.

- Meetings and follow-through: Prepare agendas and materials, coordinate meetings, capture actions and ensure agreed tasks keep moving.

- Stakeholder coordination: Communicate professionally with investors, partners, suppliers, team members and other key stakeholders.

- Business support: Assist with special projects, events, research and other operational priorities across Rural Bridge.

Skills, Experience & Attributes

- Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Operations Coordinator or similar role supporting a founder, executive or senior leader.

- Exceptional organisation and time management,

with the ability to confidently manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed.

- Strong technology and computer skills, with confidence learning new software, systems and digital platforms. Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is expected.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to deal professionally with people at all levels.

- Strong attention to detail, initiative and follow-through. You notice what needs doing and take responsibility for getting it done.

- Comfortable working with an entrepreneurial founder where ideas move quickly, priorities can change, and adaptability matters.

- Discreet and trustworthy, with sound judgement when handling confidential or sensitive information.

- Experience within financial services, investment, professional services or a growing entrepreneurial business is advantageous, but not essential.

The Person We’re Looking For

You are someone who gets genuine satisfaction from making things happen.

You like structure, organisation and clear systems, but you don’t need every day to look exactly the same. You can handle several moving parts, work out what matters most, and keep progressing without needing constant direction.

Most importantly, you want to become an important part of a growing business. You are excited by the opportunity to work closely with a founder, learn quickly, take on greater responsibility and help build something meaningful.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Tamworth, NSW, with three days per week in the office and two days working from home.
