About the role

Working closely with management, supervisors and project teams, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day safety, quality and compliance requirements of our operations. The role will involve regular travel to various project sites across Sydney, as well as office-based administration and compliance management. This is a hybrid onsite and office-based position where you will be required to travel to various construction and project sites across Sydney to conduct inspections, assist site teams and manage safety requirements, while also completing office-based compliance, documentation and ISO administration.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct regular site inspections and safety compliance checks.
- Identify hazards and work with site teams to implement appropriate controls.
- Prepare, review and maintain SWMS, JHAs, risk assessments and other safety documentation.
- Assist with incident and near-miss investigations and follow-up corrective actions.
- Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Monitor compliance with WHS legislation, company procedures and individual project requirements.
- Maintain safety registers, compliance records and project documentation.
- Monitor employee and subcontractor licences, tickets,



qualifications and other compliance requirements.
- Upload and maintain machinery, plant, equipment and worker documentation on external project compliance portals.
- Liaise with project administrators, clients, principal contractors and site representatives regarding compliance requirements.

About you

- Previous experience in a WHS, safety, quality or compliance role.
- Experience within civil construction, earthworks, plant or a similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with ISO management systems and ISO compliance requirements.
- Sound knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and workplace safety requirements.
- Experience preparing and reviewing SWMS, risk assessments, JHAs and safety documentation.
- Robust computer and administration skills.
- Experience using external contractor/project compliance portals.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
