About the Role

Joining our team in Katanning on a casual basis you will support people with disability to pursue their interests, achieve their goals, and stay connected to their community.

Successful candidates will be enthusiastic, flexible support workers who are confident in working with behaviours of concern, providing personal care if needed and are able to work last minute and short (3-4 hours) shifts in Katanning (6317).

Key Responsibilities

- Follow person-centred support and behaviour plans




- Facilitate client goal achievement through meaningful activities
- Maintain thorough record keeping
- Build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues
- Advocate for client choice and control
- Provide personal care as required

Skills & Experience

- A passion for working with people with disability
- Enthusiasm to get involved in various activities and interests
- Confidence to work with behaviours of concern
- Willingness to provide personal care as required
- Strong computer and verbal and written communication skills
- An unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and obtain an NDIS Clearance.
