SkyPoint Climb is Australia’s highest external building climb, taking guests on an incredible 90-minute adventure outside the iconic Q1 building. With 298 steps, breathtaking 360-degree views and one seriously impressive office backdrop, this isn’t your average day job.

We’re looking for a confident, energetic and safety-focused Climb Leader to join our team, working approximately 20–38 hours per week.

Harnessed to our purpose-built safety rail system, you’ll lead guests to the summit, share stories about the Gold Coast, capture incredible photos and help turn a bucket-list experience into a memory they’ll be talking about long after they’re back on the ground.

Your new day-to-day:

No two climbs are exactly the same. You’ll combine adventure, storytelling, guest service and safety to deliver an exceptional experience from start to finish.

You will:

- Welcome guests,



complete registrations and process tickets and payments.
- Deliver engaging and confident pre-climb safety briefings.
- Prepare, assemble and check climbing and safety equipment before departure.
- Lead guests safely throughout their 90-minute SkyPoint Climb experience.
- Monitor climbers and ensure all safety procedures and requirements are followed.
- Bring the Gold Coast to life by sharing stories about its landmarks, attractions, history and surrounds.
- Capture memorable photographs of guests throughout their climb and assist with photo sales following the experience.
- Create genuine connections with guests and help make every climb memorable.
- Support Guest Services across SkyPoint Climb and the Observation Deck as required.
- Maintain strong knowledge of our experiences, products, promotions and upcoming events.
- Identify opportunities to enhance the guest experience through relevant upgrades, add-ons and products.
- Complete point-of-sale, cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately.
- Help maintain the presentation, cleanliness and high standards of our venue.

What will make you a great Climb Leader?

You don’t need to be an adrenaline junkie - but being comfortable 270 metres in the air definitely helps!

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has an outgoing, friendly personality and genuinely enjoys creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Is confident speaking in front of small groups and knows how to keep people engaged.
- Can connect with guests from a wide range of cultures, backgrounds and interests.
- Thinks quickly, solves problems and stays calm when plans change.




- Is comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Has a solid safety mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
- Is physically fit and comfortable undertaking physically demanding work, including climbing stairs regularly.
- Has a good knowledge of the Gold Coast, including local landmarks, attractions and history.
- Has previous experience as a Climb Leader, adventure guide, tour guide or in a similar guest-facing role - advantageous, but not essential.
- Holds current First Aid and CPR and Work Safely at Heights qualifications or is willing to obtain them prior to commencement.
- Can successfully complete all required SkyPoint Climb Leader competency training.
- Has flexible availability across a seven-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
