About the role

Stepping Stones is seeking an experienced and passionate OSHC Educator for our Latrobe Primary School OSHC.

What you'll be doing

- Work alongside our PIC to plan and implement a high-quality, play-based educational program aligned with relevant MTOP frameworks

- Support best practice across all quality areas.

- Help to create a learning environment that nurtures children's natural curiosity.

- Foster positive relationships with our families and the wider community

- Be a passionate advocate for children's health and safety

- Make a positive contribution to our program by actively participating in staff meetings, professional development and team building activities.

What we're looking for

1. A Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or be working towards this qualification

2. A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration

3. Current HLTAID012 First Aid in Education and Care certificate

4. Current Child Protection and Food Safety Training

5. An understanding of the National Quality Framework and ability to implement best practice

6. A good understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the My Time Our Place Framework

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

8. Commitment to continuous professional development and a culture of learning

9. A strong commitment to all aspects of child safety, including child protection,



mandatory reporting and adopting the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations inclusive of the Tasmanian Child Safe Standards
