Job Reponsibilities

As a Quality System Engineer, you will provide support for the operation and maintenance of the company’s Quality, Environmental and Safety System including but not limited to auditing, reporting, customer interface on the quality matters and support for Quality in Projects and Operations.

- Lead the audit programme and maintaining certification compliance for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 17025.
- Coordinate the activities to prepare REDARC for new standard(s) or certification(s) as needed.
- Drive continuous improvement of the Quality system including corrective action and change management processes, holding the team accountable for timely resolution.
- Manage document control and Share Point quality records across the Group, coordinating corrective actions and audits, maintaining quality registers, reporting quality performance indicators, and training relevant employees on system and auditing processes.
- Investigates customer quality issues, identifies root causes, establishes and tracks corrective actions, and forms multidisciplinary task forces for complex, high-risk,



high-impact or safety-related matters.
- Manages communication with customers and, where necessary, suppliers or contractors during issue resolution.
- Working on new product development and process improvement work, including specification reviews, traceability, warranty and reliability data, participation to DFMEA, PFMEA, PCP, conduct PPAP review, etc.
- Supporting operational containment, root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities.
- Other support duties as directed by the Engineering Manager.

About you

- Tertiary Degree in Engineering and Quality or equivalent years of experience.
- A sound knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO14001 and ISO 45001.
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to get to the root cause of quality issues.
- Advanced skills in Document Management Systems, Share Point and Power App.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and undertake or analyse related metrology reports.
- Having a valuable understanding of mechanical inspection and electronics testing methods & procedures.
- Demonstrating great communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.

Location

This role is fully based on site in Lonsdale, SA 5160. While ongoing work-from-home arrangements are not offered, flexibility may be supported on an ad-hoc basis where operationally appropriate.
