Supply Chain Assistant (Part-Time)

As part of a planned succession strategy, we are seeking a Supply Chain & Operations Assistant to support the Supply Chain Manager with the day-to-day management of supply chain operations. This is a newly created role offering flexibility and excellent growth opportunities for someone looking to build a career in supply chain, logistics, and operations activities on a part-time basis (3-4 days per week) including Monday.

About the Team

You will be joining a close-knit team of 8-12 employees across Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse, Accounts Administration, Marketing, and Leadership. The team has a collaborative culture where everyone supports one another to achieve business objectives.

General Working Hours

- Monday & Wednesday : 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities





- Assist with daily supply chain and inventory management activities
- Coordinate international trade and shipping requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and monitor shipment schedules
- Support inbound and outbound logistics operations
- Analyze product and inventory data using the company's in-house system
- Generate insights and reports to support supply chain decision-making
- Work closely with warehouse, sales, and administration teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support shipping activities, particularly high-volume dispatches scheduled during the week

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

- Currently studying or qualified in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehousing, Operations Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in supply chain, inventory control, logistics, or administration
- Engineering, electronics, air conditioning, or technical industry experience would be highly regarded
- Exposure to ERP systems, inventory systems, or supply chain software.

Candidate Requirements

- Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Comfortable working with large data sets and systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Interest or prior expereince in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, or business operations
