ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialist

$725-$900/day incl. super

Join a large-scale, nationally significant technology environment with a substantial software and technology footprint. This is a hands-on opportunity to work across complex software licensing, compliance and optimisation initiatives, with exposure to major software vendors and an established ServiceNow environment. You'll have the opportunity to deliver measurable improvements across software spend, licence utilisation, governance and technology risk.

The role

- Manage software licensing, entitlements, reconciliation and ELPs
- Support vendor audits, compliance reviews and software renewals
- Identify licence reclamation and cost optimisation opportunities
- Maintain ServiceNow SAM data, content and normalisation
- Monitor platform health, data quality and integrations
- Deliver EOL/EOS and software lifecycle reporting
- Improve SAM processes, reporting and automation

About you





- 5+ years' experience across IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management or software licensing
- 3+ years' hands-on experience working with ServiceNow, ideally ITAM/SAM/SAM Pro
- Demonstrated experience with software entitlements, licence reconciliation and compliance
- Experience with licence optimisation, reclamation and renewal activities
- Exposure to major software publishers and enterprise licensing models
- Strong reporting, data analysis and stakeholder management capability
- ServiceNow SAM/ITAM certifications highly regarded

This is a strong prospect for an experienced SAM professional to work within a complex enterprise environment, combining hands-on ServiceNow work with licensing, commercial optimisation and continuous improvement.
