About the role

Step Ahead Psychology is seeking Psychologists to join our team in our Forbes office. You will deliver psychological services to children, adolescents, and adults, integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches in unique outdoor environments. We offer in-clinic, outdoor, and telehealth services, ensuring clients receive personalised care in environments where they feel most comfortable.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct therapy sessions in both in-clinic and outdoor settings, harnessing the therapeutic benefits of nature

- Deliver holistic and individually tailored mental health treatment approaches

- Work with clients of all ages, presentations and backgrounds in a client-centered manner

- Make independent decisions while collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders

- Conduct outreach travel to neighbouring communities as part of your role

About you

- Registered with AHPRA

- Medicare Provider number (or ability to obtain)

- Working with Children Check and Police Check (or ability to obtain)

- Willingness to work outdoors

- Willingness to work across the life span

- Strong enthusiasm for using outdoor settings to conduct sessions, integrating nature-based therapeutic elements

- Adept at working with diverse populations in a client-centered manner

- Desirable:



Victim Services accreditation (or willing to obtain)

- Desirable: SIRA accredited (or willing to obtain)
