About the Role:

We are seeking an Aged Care and Disability Services Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our aged care services and assigned Ipswich-based disability services. This is a hands-on leadership role with responsibility for service quality, workforce performance, financial sustainability and growth.

A key focus will be guiding the operational integration of a recently acquired business. You will work closely with its people, clients and stakeholders to maintain service continuity while bringing teams, systems and practices together. You will have a regular presence across service locations and participate in a rotational on-call roster.

Responsibilities will include:

- Lead safe, person-centred aged care and disability services that support choice, dignity, independence and individual goals.

- Guide the integration of an acquired business, including its people, clients, systems, records, quality processes and stakeholder relationships.

- Oversee enquiries, referrals, intake, service commencement, care and support planning, reviews and transitions.

- Lead and coach operational leaders and frontline teams, building capability, accountability and a positive team culture.

- Manage workforce planning, rostering and service coverage to meet client and participant needs.

- Monitor service quality, incidents, complaints and safeguarding concerns, ensuring timely action and follow-up.

- Oversee budgets, service utilisation and operational performance, and identify practical opportunities for improvement.

- Build strong relationships with clients, participants, families, carers, health professionals, referral partners and community stakeholders.

- Embed aged care and NDIS requirements into everyday service delivery.

About You:

You are a confident, visible leader who can keep services running well while guiding people through change. You understand the realities of frontline service delivery and can balance quality,



workforce needs and financial performance without losing sight of the people receiving support.

You bring management experience in aged care, disability or a comparable regulated human services setting. You have strong knowledge of either the aged care or NDIS regulatory environment and the ability to quickly build your knowledge of the other. Experience leading a service transition, acquisition integration or significant operational change will help you succeed in this role.

You communicate clearly, make sound decisions under pressure and build trust with teams, clients, participants and stakeholders. You are comfortable addressing issues early, supporting your leaders and following through on improvements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

- Demonstrated management experience in aged care, disability or comparable regulated human services.

- Strong working knowledge of either aged care or NDIS requirements, with the ability to develop sound knowledge of both.

- Experience improving service quality, workforce performance, rostering, utilisation, financial results and client experience.





- Experience leading acquisition integration, service transition or significant organisational change.

- Sound judgement in managing safeguarding, workforce, financial and urgent after-hours matters.

- Strong communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.

- A tertiary qualification in aged care, health, nursing, disability, community services or a related field is desirable.

- LCS2 check, or ability to obtain.

- QLD Paid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), or willingness to obtain.

- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

- Current P2 or Open Australian driver’s licence, as travel between sites is required.

- National Police Check, or ability to obtain.

- Nationally recognised First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain.
