We are looking for a Kitchen-hand to join our busy Childcare Centre kitchen!

About the Role:

The Childcare Kitchen-Hand supports the daily operation of the centre kitchen by assisting with food preparation, cleaning, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety to ensure nutritious meals are safely provided to children.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of the cook

- Help with plating and distribution of meals and snacks

- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment

- Clean benches, floors, fridges, and food storage areas

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness in line with food safety standards

- Support the kitchen team as required

About you:

- Food Safety Certificate

- Current Working with Children Check





- Previous kitchen or food-handling experience

- Understanding of food hygiene practices

- Ability to work as a part of a team

- Positive time management and organisational skills
