Quad Services is seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee an established commercial cleaning portfolio across Sydney (primarily, but not exclusively in the Western Suburbs). This field-based leadership role is ideal for operational professionals who thrive in a quick-paced environment, enjoy building strong client relationships, and can lead teams across multiple sites to deliver exceptional service outcomes.

The position requires regular travel throughout Sydney and occasional travel outside metropolitan areas as operational needs require.

The Role

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple client sites, ensuring service excellence, compliance, and customer satisfaction. You'll act as the key link between our clients, frontline teams, and management while driving operational performance across your portfolio.

This is a highly mobile role requiring frequent travel throughout your designated portfolio, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being on-site, building relationships, and solving problems in real time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage client relationships and serve as the primary contact for service delivery and issue resolution

- Oversee daily cleaning operations across multiple sites, including quality inspections, audits, and additional works

- Lead, coach,



and support frontline cleaning teams to achieve service and performance standards

- Manage rostering, workforce planning, and employee performance

- Ensure compliance with WHS, company policies, and client requirements

- Monitor labour costs, supplier requirements, invoicing, and operational budgets

- Identify opportunities for service improvements and portfolio growth

Skills and Experience

You will be successful in this role if you have:

- Experience in commercial cleaning, facilities management, contract services, or multi-site operations

- Previous experience as an Area Manager, Operations Supervisor, Team Leader, Site Manager, or similar leadership role

- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills

- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop frontline teams

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a large geographical area

- A hands-on and proactive approach to operational problem-solving

Essential Requirements

- Current unrestricted driver's licence

- Willingness and ability to travel frequently throughout Sydney

- Reliable vehicle

- Working With Children Check

- National Criminal History Check (issued within the last three months)

- Full Australian working rights
