Perth Kitchen Crafters is looking for an experienced cabinetmaker who enjoys varied work, takes pride in a clean finish and can get on with the job independently.

Flexibility is a real part of this opportunity. Earlier starts, earlier finishes or arranging your hours over four days are all open for discussion. We’ll agree on a schedule that works for you, the team and our project commitments.

The work

You’ll work directly with the owner across custom kitchens and cabinetry, combining workshop manufacturing and assembly with in office installation.

We’re looking for someone who can:

- Read shop drawings and organise the steps needed to complete the work.

- Machine, assemble and finish cabinetry accurately and efficiently.

- Handle fitting, scribing, adjustments and installation details with care.

- Start an installation together, then confidently carry on independently.

- Spot potential issues, solve everyday problems and communicate when a decision needs discussing.

- Keep the workspace tidy and deal professionally with clients and other trades.

You’ll have support and someone to work through the tricky details with. You’ll also have the trust and responsibility to manage your own work.

About you

You have solid cabinetmaking and installation experience, supported by a relevant trade qualification or equivalent demonstrated skills. You’re comfortable working independently, reliable about agreed commitments and particular about the finished result.

You’ll need a current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to our workshop and Perth project sites.

Work rights

Applicants must have full, unrestricted Australian work rights and be available for ongoing, long-term employment. Visa sponsorship is not available. This position is not suitable for student visa holders or working holiday/backpacker applicants.
