About the role





We are seeking a reliable and practical Casual Community Support Worker – Domestic Assistance to provide services to Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients across the Central Coast.

The role is primarily focused on domestic assistance and routine household tasks within clients’ homes. As a casual position, hours will be offered based on client needs and service requirements.

Key responsibilities

- General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Laundry and other routine domestic assistance tasks
- Providing reliable and respectful service in clients’ homes
- Working independently and managing allocated tasks
- Travelling to clients’ homes across the Central Coast

About you

You will be reliable, respectful and comfortable working independently in clients’ homes. You will also have:

- Current Australian Driver Licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You, completed or willingness to complete
- Ability to undertake household cleaning and domestic assistance tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to complete and maintain required training and competencies, including annual Manual Handling competency
- Previous domestic assistance, home care or community services experience is desirable but not essential
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or a related qualification is desirable but not essential
