The Parts Assistant supports manufacturing operations through inventory management, production support, and warehouse coordination. You will receive and log incoming materials, pick and deliver parts to production lines, inspect for quality, maintain accurate system records, and ensure a safe warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

Receive, unpack, and log incoming raw materials, fabricated components, and spare parts. Ensure correct labelling and storage in designated warehouse zones.

Pick, pack, and promptly deliver parts to production lines and assembly teams to maintain uninterrupted manufacturing schedules.

Inspect incoming and outgoing parts for damage or manufacturing defects. Report discrepancies immediately.

Update the Inventory Management System (ERP) accurately. Log part usage, track stock levels, and flag low-stock items.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse space.



Comply strictly with all workplace health and safety (WHS) and forklift protocols.

Compile purchase orders for replacement stock, tools, and consumables. Reconcile stock received against purchase orders raised.

Delivery and pick up of parts and materials as required.

About you

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace, industrial warehouse, or mechanical workshop.

Basic computer literacy with exposure to inventory software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Katana, Xero).

Forklift licence (LF ticket) is required.

Experience towing trailers would be advantageous.

Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting (up to 20kg), bending, and standing for long periods.

Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and a proactive attitude.
