About the opportunity:

We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join the team at our Beverage Can plant based in Yatala, QLD. This isn't a traditional warehouse role. You'll be working in a fast-paced can manufacturing environment, spending most of your day on a counterbalance forklift and keeping materials moving to support production.

- Shift Details: Day shift only – 8-hour shifts (6am to 2pm)

What you'll do:

- Operate a counterbalance forklift for the majority of the shift, including long tines when required
- Unload large aluminium coils from trucks at the front end of site
- Load scrap metal containers
- Run production bins to and from the manufacturing lines
- Move dangerous goods, including acid, safely by forklift in line with site procedures
- Assist with packaging and support operators where needed

What You Will Bring:

- Valid Forklift Licence (LF)
- Solid counterbalance forklift experience
- Experience operating a 16-tonne forklift highly regarded (not essential)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production workplace desirable
