About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer to join our team at a secure site located in Myambat / Denman, NSW (Hunter Valley region) . This role operates on a 24/7 rotating roster , therefore full availability across days, nights, weekends, and public holidays is essential.

The position offers $28.42 p/hr + superannuation + applicable shift loadings , with relocation incentives available for candidates moving to the area.

Due to the nature of the site, applicants must hold a current NV1 security clearance .
Successful candidates will receive paid ongoing training , including site-specific training as required.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Conducting foot and/or vehicle patrols of the site
- Monitoring and responding to security and safety risks
- Providing a professional security presence
- Incident response and escalation as required
- Monitoring CCTV systems and alarms
- Completing accurate reports, logs, and records
- Onsite risk mitigation and compliance with procedures

Skills and Qualifications

- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid NSW Security Licence
- Current NV1 Security Clearance (Must Have)
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Ability to work under pressure and remain alert
- Robust conflict resolution and communication skills
- Full availability to work a 24/7 rotating roster
