We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Cook / Chef to join our team in our busy country café.

We serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week , with a menu that focuses on fresh, generous and delicious café food. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in what they put on the plate and enjoys working in a friendly, fast-paced environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch service, including:

- Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard

- Breakfast and lunch service

- Food preparation and kitchen organisation

- Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards

- Working efficiently during busy service periods

- Assisting with menu preparation and specials

- Stock rotation and minimising food wastage

- Working collaboratively with the front-of-house and kitchen team

About You





We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience as a Cook, Chef or experienced Café Cook

- Is confident working across breakfast and lunch service

- Can work independently while also being a team player

- Has a good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene

- Is organised, reliable and able to work well under pressure

- Takes pride in presentation and consistency

- Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a small team

- Has a genuine passion for good food

Trade qualifications are desirable but not essential for the right person with relevant café cooking experience.
