About the Role

The role involves operating vacuum trucks and servicing commercial customers. The successful candidate will primarily operate side-lift or front-lift trucks, with rear-lift operations also required as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate HR vacuum and waste collection trucks
- Operate side-lift, front-lift and/ or rear-lift trucks as required
- Service commercial businesses and customer sites
- Safely collect and transport materials
- Complete vehicle pre-starts and basic checks
- Follow all site safety and operational procedures
- Perform general duties associated with the role

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- Current HR Driver Licence mandatory
- Experience operating heavy vehicles
- Vacuum truck experience desirable
- Side-lift, front-lift or rear-lift experience desirable
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift Licence desirable but not essential

HR licence must cover MR, LR and C classes.

Mandatory Checks

Candidates must be able to successfully complete:

- Drug & Alcohol Screening (DAS)
- Pre-employment Medical
- Police Clearance

PPE Requirements

Candidates will be required to have:

- Long sleeve work shirts
- Long work pants
- High-vis vest
- Safety glasses and gloves
- Masks as required
- Steel-cap safety boots
- Wide-brim hat when working outdoors
