Gate Gourmet , part of gategroup, is a global food service provider delivering premium catering solutions across aviation and corporate environments. We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-focused Catering Assistant to support our onsite team at a flagship corporate location in Sydney CBD (close to public transport).
Shifts: Monday to Friday10:30am - 5:00pm (Part-time )

The Role
You will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in keeping the kitchen operating efficiently and safely. Your focus will be maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within a professional kitchen setting. Key responsibilities are:

- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment
- Wash and sanitise crockery, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Sort, stack and store clean items correctly
- Maintain adequate stock of clean dishes during service periods
- Clean kitchen appliances, surfaces and floors




- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies
- Dispose of waste and maintain a safe, organised workspace
- Follow food safety and Work Health & Safety procedures

About You
We're looking for someone dependable, efficient and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen workplace.
To succeed in this role, you will have:

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
- Valuable time management skills
- Previous hospitality or kitchen experience (highly regarded)
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (desirable)
- Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
