The Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated second or third-year Apprentice Electrician with proven experience in domestic new-home construction.

This position is suited to someone who already understands residential construction environments and has practical experience completing rough-ins, cut-outs and fit-offs.

You will work alongside experienced electricians on premium and architecturally designed homes while continuing to develop your technical skills across electrical, lighting, automation, security and communications systems.

This is not an entry-level apprenticeship position. Applicants must have at least 12 months of hands‑on domestic recent‑home construction experience.

Your Responsibilities

- Assisting with electrical rough-ins, cut-outs and fit-offs on new-home projects.
- Installing cabling, lighting, power, switchboards, data and communications systems.
- Maintaining clean,



organised and safe work areas.
- Reading plans and following installation specifications.
- Completing work to ProGlow's quality and safety standards.
- Supporting qualified electricians and contributing productively to the site team.
- Developing skills in home automation, security, CCTV and audio-visual systems.

What We Are Looking For

- A current second or third-year electrical apprentice.
- At least 12 months of domestic new-home construction experience.
- Practical experience with rough‑in, cut‑out and fit‑off work.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.
- Good knowledge of electrical hand tools and construction‑site practices.
- Attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- A current Construction Induction White Card.
- Full Australian working rights.
