Wandilla Magic is looking for a Super Star Support Person to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity to work across our whole service, experience different age groups, build your confidence and discover where your skills and passion shine brightest.

Whether you're working towards your Certificate III, Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood/Early Years , or you're an experienced educator looking for a more flexible and supportive way to return to childcare, this could be the perfect role for you.

About Our Service

Wandilla Magic has been part of the Loganholme community for 30 years.

For three decades, the same family has owned and operated our service. We are proud of the relationships we have built with generations of children, families and educators in our community.

We’re not a big corporate centre where you’re just another number.

We’re a family-owned service with a strong sense of community, and we genuinely value the people who choose to work with us.

Our team is made up of long-term educators who know each other, support each other and care deeply about the children and families we work with.

Every member of our team has been with us for at least one year, with many having been here for considerably longer.

And our longest-serving team member has been part of the Wandilla Magic family for an incredible 24 years!

About The Role

As our Super Star Support Person, you’ll be one of the people who helps make the whole service run smoothly.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across all age groups and rooms, supporting educators wherever you’re needed.

One day you might be cuddling babies and helping with their routines.

The next you might be building towers with toddlers, joining in messy play or helping our older children explore, learn and have fun.

You’ll gain experience across the service while discovering:

“Where do I really shine?”

If you discover that you absolutely love working with toddlers, babies or our kindergarten-aged children, we’ll support you by rostering you predominantly in the rooms that suit your interests and developing skillset.

This role is about learning, growing and contributing without feeling overwhelmed by responsibility.

We can offer adaptable work days and hours.

This makes the position particularly suited to someone who:

- Is studying their Certificate III
- Is studying their Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Is studying a Bachelor of Early Childhood/Early Years
- Wants to earn money while gaining valuable industry experience
- Is considering a career in early childhood and wants to "try before they commit"
- Has previously worked in childcare and is looking to return
- Wants to contribute to their community without taking on the responsibility of running a room
- Wants a workplace that genuinely cares about their wellbeing

The Successful Candidate

You may be:

Studying towards:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
- Bachelor of Early Childhood/Early Years

OR

Already qualified:

- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

We also value educators who have completed GECKO training or are willing to undertake it as part of their professional development.
