About the role

As a Retail Salesperson, you will help customers find the right products for their homes while providing a friendly and qualified shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers and understanding their needs
- Providing advice on rugs, flooring and home interior products
- Working towards individual and store sales targets
- Preparing quotes and following up customer enquiries
- Processing sales and customer orders
- Maintaining showroom presentation and product displays
- Assisting with stock and general store duties
- Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent after-sales service

About you

- Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with customers




- Motivated by sales and achieving targets
- Reliable and professional
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Well presented with good communication skills
- Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems
- Previous experience in retail sales, furniture, flooring, rugs, homewares, bedding, electrical, automotive or other customer-facing sales environments would be highly regarded
