Our busy GP clinic in Double Bay needs a strong, motivated and empathetic Medical Receptionist to work on a permanent full-time basis.

*Please note: this role will not suit anyone looking for casual or part-time hours.

*Please only apply for this role is you can do permanent full time, across Monday to Friday.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients with a friendly and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments, ensuring productive flow

Handling patient enquiries and providing accurate information

Assisting with patient registration and data entry

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Providing support to the medical team as needed

Ensuring compliance with medical administration policies and procedures

About you

You have full permanent working rights in Australia with no restrictions

You want permanent full time, Monday to Friday

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, with shifts operating between 7:30am and 6:30pm (you may or may not be rostered on for a late shift in any given week)

You will thrive working in a busy environment

Keen problem solving and multi-tasking ability





Good customer service skills and phone manner

High level of attention to detail when it comes to accuracy and sensitivity in handling patient information.

You show care to others

You enjoy working in a team environment, are adaptable to changing workflow and are process orientated

Experience in a medical reception role, although not essential

Best Practice experience preferred, although not essential
