About the Role

Trojan Rail is seeking safety focused Terminal Operators to join a busy freight terminal at Acacia Ridge.

Previous reach stacker experience is not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are particularly interested in applicants with forklift operating experience who are ready to learn and develop their skills.

This is a casual role operating across a 24/7 rotating roster. Shifts may include mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and public holidays.

What You Will Do

- Operate forklifts within the freight terminal
- Undertake reach stacker training
- Operate reach stackers once trained, licensed and authorised
- Load and unload containers from rail rolling stock




- Move and position freight safely within the terminal
- Complete equipment pre start inspections
- Report equipment faults and defects promptly
- Complete operational documentation accurately
- Follow all site, rail safety and workplace procedures
- Support safe and efficient terminal operations

What You Will Need

- A current LF High Risk Work Licence
- Forklift operating experience
- A current unrestricted Class C driver licence
- A strong commitment to safety
- Willingness and ability to complete reach stacker training
- Flexibility to work varied shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to complete a Category 1 Rail Safety Worker medical assessment, drug and alcohol screening, site inductions and other pre employment requirements

Desirable

- Experience in rail, freight, transport, warehousing, ports or intermodal operations
- Experience working around heavy vehicles or mobile plant
- A current RS High Risk Work Licence
