Individualised Lifestyle Support Services (ILS Services) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis . Based in Logan Central, Queensland , this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring aged and disability support. As a Support Worker, you will be at the heart of our service delivery, providing person-centred support that enables clients to live fulfilling and independent lives within their communities.

What you'll be doing

- Providing direct personal care and assistance to clients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing and meal preparation
- Supporting clients to engage in community activities, social outings and recreational pursuits that promote wellbeing and social inclusion
- Assisting with mobility and physical support, utilising appropriate manual handling techniques and mobility aids
- Maintaining accurate and detailed client records and documentation in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements
- Building positive and trusting relationships with clients, understanding their individual needs, preferences and goals
- Supporting clients with life skills development, including budgeting, shopping, cooking and household management
- Communicating effectively with clients, their families, carers and other support team members to ensure coordinated and responsive care
- Responding to client requests in a timely and professional manner, adapting support based on individual circumstances
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment within client homes and community spaces
- Promoting client independence,



dignity and choice in all interactions and support provision

What we're looking for

We are currently recruiting experienced support workers for several opportunities across Queensland:

- Hillcrest, QLD: Female support workers required for split shifts, including 2-hour morning shifts and 3-hour afternoon shifts. Previous experience in manual handling and supporting children is preferred.
- Bayside Region, QLD: Male support workers required to support a male client.
- Lockyer Valley, QLD: Female support workers required for ongoing support services.

- Current or willingness to obtain relevant formal qualifications, such as Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to promoting client autonomy and dignity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clients and their families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professional conduct
- Physical fitness and capability to provide hands-on support, including manual handling where required
- Willingness to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required for casual employment




- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain these qualifications
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) and Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance, or willingness to obtain these
- Reliable transport and current driver's license (desirable)
- Previous experience in aged care, disability support or community services (preferred but not essential)
