HI DISABILITY HEALING SERVICES PTY LTD – Sutherland NSW

DHS is seeking passionate support workers and team leaders to join our team in the Sutherland shire. In this casual role, you will provide essential care and support for two active teenage boys with autism. Experience is necessary. Need to be physically able and active. Most importantly, have genuine care for the clients. As a support worker, you will be a key part of our mission to empower and enable our clients to lead fulfilling lives.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Supporting clients to access the community and participate in social and recreational activities




- Providing emotional support and encouragement to help clients develop their independence and confidence.
- Personal care of the clients.

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in disability support, or a similar care-focused role
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the independence and wellbeing of our clients
- A valid driver's licence and the ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays.
