Bentrol is a leading Australian manufacturer of bespoke electrical switchboards, switchrooms and power distribution solutions for major infrastructure, mining, utilities and industrial projects. Operating across four manufacturing facilities in Bendigo, we are committed to maintaining safe, clean and professional workplaces that reflect the quality of our products and services.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced full-time Yardperson. This role is based in Bendigo.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain yards, grounds, roadside verges and landscaped areas across four manufacturing sites to the highest standard.

Perform gardening, mowing, weeding, pruning and general grounds maintenance.

Ensure outdoor building areas are clean and well presented, including glass, gutters, pathways and perimeter fencing.

Clean and maintain company vehicles and equipment.

Manage waste collection, segregation and disposal activities.

Conduct regular sweeping and general site housekeeping duties.

Ensure safe storage and organisation of tools, equipment and materials.

Undertake general labouring and maintenance duties as required.

Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues or damage.

Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.





Follow all company policies, procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Assist production and operations teams with other duties as required.

Skills & Experience

Positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.

Current HR Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.

Current Forklift Licence (essential).

Scissor Lift Licence (desirable, but not essential)

Previous experience in grounds maintenance, yard maintenance, property maintenance or a similar role.

Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to work.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Reliable, dependable and punctual.

High level of pride in your work and strong attention to detail.

Physically capable of undertaking a demanding hands‑on role.

Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
