PowerClear is seeking a reliable and motivated Tree Planter to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on outdoor role involving tree planting and associated landscaping and vegetation works across a variety of projects throughout the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.

About the Role

As a Tree Planter, you will work as part of our field team undertaking tree planting and establishment works. Duties may include:

- Planting trees, shrubs and other vegetation
- Preparing planting areas, including digging and soil preparation
- Installing stakes, ties, guards and other tree protection
- Mulching and watering newly planted trees
- Loading, unloading and handling plants and materials
- General landscaping and vegetation maintenance
- Operating hand tools and small plant/equipment where appropriately trained
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following site-specific environmental and WHS requirements
- Working alongside other crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Enjoys working outdoors and undertaking physically active work
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic
- Is comfortable working in varying weather conditions




- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Takes pride in completing work to a high standard
- Understands the importance of workplace health and safety
- Is willing to learn and follow instructions

Previous experience in tree planting, landscaping, horticulture, arboriculture or vegetation management would be highly regarded; however, training can be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

Applicants should ideally hold:

- Current Australian Driver Licence
- White Card
- Construction or landscaping experience (desirable)
- Relevant horticulture/arboriculture qualifications (desirable)
- Experience using landscaping or vegetation management equipment (desirable)
