We are currently searching for an experienced Trades Assistant to join their workshop team immediately.

The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial/factory based work with experience in mechanical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting.

Main duties for the role will include

- Greasing machinery and hydraulics
- Working with boilers
- Assisting fitters and maintenance teamand performing routine checks
- General maintenance

What's on offer:

- $41.42 per hour + super + overtime penalty rates
- Consistent work available with full time hours

- On the job training provided for candidates wishing to learn and upskill

Requirements:

- Drivers license and own transport
- Experience working around industrial machinery, mechanical equipment or plant
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and mechanical components
- Ability to assist mechanical tradespeople with repairs, maintenance and installations
- Comfortable performing routine equipment checks and general maintenance
- Able to pass a pre employment medical including D&A; screen.
