Enthusiastic Store Manager - 2 Days Per Week

Are you an experienced retail or hospitality leader who loves creating memorable experiences for families?

We are seeking a mature-minded, enthusiastic and reliable Casual Store Manager to join our team at a fun, well-known and popular children's play centre in the Sutherland Shire.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team, delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy family entertainment venue.

Sunday and Monday availability is mandatory for this role. Additional availability, particularly midweek and Saturday evenings will be highly regarded.

About You

- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail, hospitality or similar supervisory/management role

- A mature mindset with the confidence to lead by example

- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for excellent customer service

- Strong people management skills and the ability to motivate and support a team consisting mainly of young people and teenagers

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high operational standards

- Initiative, reliability and the ability to work independently

- A sensible, calm and practical approach to problem-solving

- Experience handling customer complaints professionally and effectively





- Cash handling and end-of-day reconciliation experience

- Intermediate computer skills and confidence using workplace systems

- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment

- A current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

- A current First Aid Certificate

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and support team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences

- Oversee daily venue operations and ensure smooth running of the centre

- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints with professionalism

- Maintain excellent presentation, cleanliness and safety standards

- Complete senior retail-style duties including cash management, reporting and operational tasks

- Train and mentor team members, encouraging accountability and teamwork

- Ensure policies, procedures and service standards are consistently followed

- Promote a safe, positive and welcoming setting for children, families and staff
